  • 1 1/2

    cups very warm water

  • 1/4

    cup sugar

  • 3

    Tbsp. oil

  • 1

    egg

  • 1

    Tbsp. quick rise yeast

  • 3 1/2 to 4

    cups flour

  • 1/2

    tsp. salt

Directions

Directions: 1) Mix2 cups flour, sugar, yeast and salt in a large bowl. 2) In another bowl mix wet ingredients. Add to dry ingredients, blend well. 3) Add remaining flour a bit at a time until soft dough is formed. 4) Knead 3-4 times on a floured counter. 5) Put back into a big bowl and cover with a dish towel & let rise for 15 minutes. 6) Punch down & let rise another 15 minutes. 7) Shape into buns and put on pans. 8) Let rise 1 hour covered. 9) Bake @ 350 F for 18-20 minutes. ** If you have a bosch: Throw all the ingredients in at once, but add half the flour until everything is mixed together, then add the rest. Let rise in the bosch with the cover on, then punch down & let run for 30 seconds. ** I usually do a double batch.
