Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce, divided
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green bell pepper
- 1/3 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1 c. shredded Asiago cheese

Step 1
Reserve 1/3 c. tomato sauce; refrigerate. Combine remaining tomato sauce and egg in large bowl. Stir in onion, bell pepper, bread crumbs, Parm. cheese, garlic powder, pepper. Add ground beef & pork. Mix well & shape into loaf.
Carefully transfer meat loaf to slow cooker. Cover; cook on LOW 8-10 hours or HIGH 4-6 hours. (internal temp should be 170.
Spread meat loaf w/ reserved tomato sauce; sprinkle w/ Asiago cheese. Cover; cook 15 mins. or till cheese is melted.
