Ingredients

    can (8 oz.) tomato sauce, divided

  • 1

    egg, lightly beaten

  • 1/2

    c. chopped onion

  • 1/2

    c. chopped green bell pepper

  • 1/3

    c. seasoned dry bread crumbs

  • 2

    tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2

    tsp. garlic powder

  • 1/4

    tsp. pepper

  • 1

    lb. ground beef

  • 1/2

    lb. ground pork

  • 1

    c. shredded Asiago cheese

Directions

Reserve 1/3 c. tomato sauce; refrigerate. Combine remaining tomato sauce and egg in large bowl. Stir in onion, bell pepper, bread crumbs, Parm. cheese, garlic powder, pepper. Add ground beef & pork. Mix well & shape into loaf. Carefully transfer meat loaf to slow cooker. Cover; cook on LOW 8-10 hours or HIGH 4-6 hours. (internal temp should be 170. Spread meat loaf w/ reserved tomato sauce; sprinkle w/ Asiago cheese. Cover; cook 15 mins. or till cheese is melted.
