Ingredients
- 24 Deglet Noor dates, pitted
- 1/4 pound Parmigiano-Reggiano, cut into 1/2 -inch by 1/4-inch rectangles
- 24 3-inch strips of very thinly sliced bacon
- 5 leaves flat leaf parsley
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 400°. Stuff each date with a piece of Parmigiano-Reggiano. Tightly wrap each date with a slice of bacon.
2. Place the bacon-wrapped dates on a baking sheet and transfer to the oven. Bake until the bacon is golden brown and crispy, 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle the dates with the parsley leaves and serve.
