Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons fresh garlic
- 2 fresh limes, juice only and 1 fresh lemon, juice only (or 3 tablespoons lemon juice)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh minced parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- Angel hair pasta
- 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Cook sauce ingredients in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until mixture is bubbly. Reduce heat to medium and add the shrimp. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.
Add parsley and hot sauce, if desired, and toss gently. Pour shrimp mixture over pasta. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup grated Romano cheese.
NOTE:
Can add 1 tablespoon flour to thicken sauce.
