Make this glaze while the Danish is in the oven and apply it as soon as the Danish is baked.

Drizzle this white icing over the Danish when it has fully cooled

Ingredients

  • Glaze: INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar (6 ounces), sifted
  • 5 teaspoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar (4 ounces), sifted
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Preparation

Step 1

Glaze:
Whisk ingredients together in small bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and set aside until ready to use.

Icing:
Whisk ingredients together in small bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and set aside until ready to use.

Bake until Danish are golden brown,
Place Danish on wire rack and brush with glaze while still hot. Cool to room temperature, about 1 hour. Using soup spoon, drizzle Danish with icing.
