Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c graham cracker crumbs
- 1 1/4 c all purpose flour
- 3/4 c packed brown sugar, divided
- 1/4 c granulated sugar
- 1 t ground cinnamon
- 3/4 c butter or margarine, melted
- 2 c chopped, peeled apples (2 med)
- Glaze
- 1/2 powdered sugar
- 1 T milk
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven 350*. Grease 13 x 9 pan. Combine crumbs, flour, 1/2 c brown sugar, gran sugar, cinnamon & melted butter in large bowl until well blended; reserve 1 cup. Press remaining crumb mixture into bottom of prepared pan.
Bake 8 min. Remove from oven; set aside. Toss apples with remaning 1/2 c brown sugar in medium bowl until brown sugar is dissolved; arrang eapples over baked crust. Sprinkle reserved 1 cup crumbs mixture over filling. Bake 30 - 35 min or until apples tender. Remove pan to wire rack; cool completely. Drizzel with Glaze, cut into bars.
