Ingredients
- 1 c fresh or frozen green beans, trimmed and cut
- 1 c water
Preparation
Step 1
Put beans into a steamer basket, or place in a saucepan covered by an inch of water, cover. Heat to a boil; then turn down heat slightly. Steam until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Place the beans into a blender. Purée to a smooth consistency by gradually adding the leftover water from steaming.
