Ingredients
- Syrup:
- 3 T wilton meringue powder
- 1/2 c cold water
- 2 c granulated sugar
- 1/4 c corn syrup
- 1/2 c water
Preparation
Step 1
1. Beat meringue powder and cold water until stiff, about 4 min.
2. In a large microwave-safe measuring cup, stir sugar, corn syrup, and water. In a microwave, bring syrup mix to a boil (5 min). Remove when boiling stops.
3. Slowly add syrup to meringue mix while beating on low. Beat on HIGH for 4 min until stiff and glassy.
Oven top directions:
Mix sugar, corn syrup, and water in 2 qt saucepan. Bring to a boil; cook slightly and following #3.
