Step 1
1. In a skillet heat 1 TBSP olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 cup finely chopped red onion; cook and stir 5 minutes. Add 1 seeded finely chopped jalapeno pepper and 4 cloves minced garlic; cook and stir 1 minute.

3. Stir in 1/4 cup bourbon. Return to heat; bring to boiling. Meanwhile, in a bowl use a potato masher to slightly mash 2 cups of blueberries. Stir blueberries, 1/2 cup ketchup, 2 TBSP maple syrup, 2 TBSP cider vinegar, 1/4 tsp. grated nutmeg, and 1/8 tsp. all spice into skillet. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes or until thickened. Transfer to a blender. Cover; blend until smooth.
