Chocolate Satin frosting

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 1 oz squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 3 c powdered sugar
  • 4 1/2 Tbsp hot water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c soft butter or marg.
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Melt choc. in bowl over hot water (or microwave)
Beat in sugar and water. Beat in egg, then butter and vanilla. Frosting will be thin at this point. Place bowl in ice water to thicken or chill in frig. Frosts top and sides of 2 9 inch layers
