Ingredients
- 4 lbs spareribs
- 3/4 cup minced onion
- 1 clove garlic,crushed
- 1/4 cup butter,or margarine or oil
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Place ribs on rack in large shallow roasting pan.Bake in 325 oven 1 hour 15 minites.For sauce,saute onion and garlic in hot butter until tender,add remaining ingredients and simmer 10 minutes.Turn oven control to 400.Spread sauce generously on one side of ribs,bake 10 minutes.Turn ribs.Spread with remaining sauce and bake 10 to 15 minutes or until meat is glazed.
