Green Pepper Jelly

Ingredients

  • 1 cup green pepper seeded and ground
  • 1/4 cup hot peppers ground
  • 1 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 6 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 bottle (6 oz) liquid pectin
  • green food coloring

Preparation

Step 1

-Combine vinegar, pepper and sugar
-Bring to rolling boil
-Remove from heat and let stand 20 min
-Reheat and boil for 3 min, stirring constantly
-Remove from heat and add pectin and stir 5 min
-Pour into hot sterile jars and seal
-NOTE: For a hot jelly do not remove seeds
