Ingredients
- 1 lb sugar
- 1 dozen eggs
- 1 1/2 quarts half & half
- 1/2 quart whipping cream
- 1/2 fifth of brandy
- 1 1/2 Tbl vanilla
- 1 Tbl nutmeg
Preparation
Step 1
Use very large bowl to begin, as all ingredients will end up here.
Separate eggs, beat yolks with 1/2 of the sugar, add half & half, vanilla and brandy. Beat whites with 1/4 of the sugar (half of what is left), fold in.
Beat whipping cream with 1/4 of the sugar (remaining)fold in
Sprinkle nutmeg on top
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour
