Teriyaki Sauce and Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 5 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1-2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. cold water

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all but the cornstarch and cold water into a saucepan. Begin heating.

Mix together the cornstarch and cold water. Add to the sauce in the pan. Heat until the sauce thickens.

Use as a marinade and/or sauce for chicken, pork, vegetables, etc..
