Ingredients

  • 4 c. self-rising flour
  • 3 sticks cold butter; blend to size of peas
  • Beat 4 eggs into 1 cup heavy cream reserving 1 T for glazing
  • Add grated sharp cheddar cheese and chopped dill to flour mixture. Mix with wet ingredients to form dough.
  • Roll out 1 inch thick. Cut into 4 inch squares then across two points to form triangles. Place on baking sheet. Glaze tops with last of egg and cream mixture. Bake in 400 degree oven until brown.
