Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh onion
  • 1 tablespoon butter or maragine
  • 1 jar (12 oz) Heinz Homestyle Chicken Soup
  • 1-1/4 cups milk
  • dash salt
  • dash pepper
  • 1 package (10 oz) frozen chopped broccoli,cooked,
  • drained or 1 package (10oz) frozen chopped
  • spinnach,cooked well drained
  • 1 cup (4 oz) grated Swiss cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1.Place onion and butter in a 2-qt casserole.Microwave at high,uncovered,1 minute.Stir in gravy,milk,salt,
pepper and broccoli.Cover dish with lid or vented plastic wrap.Microwave at high 8 to 9 minutes or until heated through,stirring once.Stir in cheese.Cover and microwave at medium (50 0/0) 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.Garnish individual servings of soup with carrot flowers,carrot strips and frech chives,if desired .
