  • BBQ Sauce:
  • 1 brisket
  • onion salt
  • celery salt
  • garlic salt
  • 1 bottle liquid smoke
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 3 dashes of Tabasco sauce
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • mix and simmer 15 minutes then pour over the brisket

Step 1

Sprinkle brisket with onion, celery, and garlic salt plus 1 bottle of liquid smoke (small brisket 1/2 bottle). Wrap brisket with foil and marinate overnight. Take brisket out of marinade and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire. Wrap again in foil tightly, and place in shallow pan and bake for 5 hours at 275 degrees. After it has baked I chill it so I can slice it. If it is not chilled it will be like shredded beef. Add BBQ sauce and bake 1 hour more.
