Patio Spinach & Strawberry Salad

My husband wasn't keen to try this but all I said was "TRY IT!" It's now one of his favorites.

Ingredients

• Dressing:
• 2 bunches baby spinach
• 1 pt. strawberries
• 1/2 c. sliced almonds
• 1/3 c. sugar
• 2 T. sesame seeds
• 1 T. poppy seeds
• 1 1/2 t. onion, minced
• 1/4 t. Worcestershire sauce
• 1/4 t. paprika
• 1/2 c. oil
• 1/4 c. vinegar

Step 1

Wash spinach; drain well. Wash, hull and slice strawberries. Blend dressing ingredients until thick.* Toss with salad just prior to serving.

* I always make the dressing several hours ahead to allow the flavors to blend.
