Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 2 cups onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped olives
- 2 4 oz cans sliced mushrooms, drained and liquid from 1 can reserved
- 2 t salt
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 8oz cans tomato sauce
- 16 oz pkg curly egg noodles, cooked
- 8 oz pkg shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meat and vegetables; sprinkle with salt. Cook until meat is browned and vegetables are tender; drain. Stir in soup and sauce; simmer gor 5 minutes. Stir together soup mixture and cooked noodles; place in a lightly greased 13 x 9 baking pan. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Serves 8 to 10 minutes
