Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 1/2 lb. ground veal
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 c. Romano cheese
  • 1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 slices white bread
  • 2 T. water
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/4 t. pepper
  • 1/4 c. dry breadcrumbs

Step 1

In a small bowl, pull apart bread and toss with water. In a large bowl, combine ground meats, egg, garlic, cheese, parsley, bread, salt and pepper. Add breadcrumbs. Mix again and form into balls. Heat ¼ inch vegetable oil in a large frying pan. Add meatballs, in a single layer and cook at medium high heat for 4 minutes. Flip. Cook 4 – 6 minutes more or until done. Drain in a paper towel lined bowl. (Could also bake in a 350º oven.)
