Banana Bread

  • 2 C whole wheat flour
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/2 C sugar free applesauce
  • 3/4 C honey
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 mashed overripe bananas



Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.
Lightly grease a 9"x5" loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda & salt.
In a separate bowl, mix together applesauce & honey.
Stir in eggs & mashed bananas until well blended.
Stir banana mixture into flour mixture, stir just to moisten.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 60-65 mins, until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Let bread cool in a pan for 10 mins, then turn out onto a wire rack.
