Ingredients

  • 3 lb chicken thighs - boneless, skinless
  • juice from 4 lemons
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 3 tbsp ground almonds
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 3 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garam masla
  • 1 tsp tumeric
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine chicken, lemon juice, and salt.
2. Toss, place in large plastic bag.
3. Combine yogurt, almonds, ginger, garlic, paprika, garam masla, tumeric, papper, and cayenne.
4. Mix and pour over chicken. Toss to coat.
5. Marinate in bag for 4 hours.
6. Soak bamboo skewers 30-45 minutes.
7. Remove chicken from fridge 1/2 hour before cooking.
8. Preheat grill to medium-high.
9. Place 2-3 pieces on skewer.
10. Oil grill and place skewers on grill.
11. Grill lid up, 7-8 minutes per side.
