Ingredients
- 2 T. oil
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 capsicum, in strips
- 1 lb. topside (round) steak, in strips
- 1 t. sugar
- 1 beef stock cube
- 2 c. water
- 2 T. soy sauce
- 1 t. ground ginger
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 T. cornstarch with 2 T. water
- 1 c. frozen green beans
- 1/4 c. toasted almonds

Step 1
Heat oil to medium heat; fry onion and capsicum until tender. Remove; set aside. Fry meat until it changes color. Add onions, capsicum, sugar, stock cube, water, soy sauce, ginger and garlic. Allow mixture to come to the boil, reduce heat. Simmer 10 min. Bring mixture to the boil; add corn flour mixture while stirring. Add beans. Simmer 5 minutes. Serve with Egg Fried Rice. Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
