Ingredients
- 2 (8 count) cans plain biscuits
- Vegetable oil for fryer
- GLAZE
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- Water
- Coating
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
1. Separate biscuit dough into individual biscuits. Poke a hole in center of each biscuit and stretch slightly.
2. Drop into 375 degree oil and fry in electric deep fryer until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Finish with glaze or coating.
GLAZE
Place sugar in mixing bowl; add enough water to make a slightly thick consistency. Dip doughnuts into glaze and return to paper towels. Glaze will harden as doughnut cools
COATING
Mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll warm doughnuts in mixture and tap off excess.
