Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pkgs. yeast
- 3 T. sugar
- 1 3/4 C. warm water plus 1/8 C.
- 3 T. butter, softened
- 1 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 5 C. flour

Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve yeast in water with 1 T. of the sugar. When mixture is bubbly add remaining ingredients. (Dough will be quite sticky.) Cover tightly in Tupperware bowl and let rise 1 hour.
Divide into 2 greased loaf pans and let rise 30 minutes.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
