Ingredients
- 1 . CAKE:
- 1 1 2 ) 2 cups sugar
- 2 2 2 ) 2 cups flour
- 3 3 1/3 ) 1/3 cup cocoa
- 4 4 1 ) 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 5 5 1/2 ) 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 6 1 ) 1 cup butter
- 7 7 1 ) 1 cup water
- 8 8 1/2 ) 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 9 9 2 ) 2 eggs
- 10 10 1 ) 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
FROSTING:
1) 1 stick butter
2) 1/4 cup cocoa
3) 6 tablespoons milk
5) 4 cups powdered sugar
6) 1 cup chopped pecans
For frosting, mix butter, cocoa, and milk. Heat to boiling. Pour over sugar and pecans. Mix well. Spread on hot cake.
