Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°. In medium bowl, cream together sugar and butter. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder, add to creamed mixture and mix well. Finally, stir in milk until batter is smooth.
Pour or spoon batter into cups. 3/4 full if using a muffin pan or 1/2 full if using cookie sheet.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Allow to cool fully before icing.
