  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ancho chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 4 (6 ounce) Alaskan salmon fillets/ Wild Pacific
  • cooking spray
  • 2 tblsp. maple syrup

Step 1

* preheat broiler
* combine first 6 ingredients
* rub spice mix evenly over flesh side of fillets
* put fish on broiler pan sprayed with cooking oil
* broil 6 minutes or until desired doneness
* brush fillets evenly with syrup
* broil one more minute
