Ingredients

- 8 " prebaked quiche shell
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups creme fraiche or heavy cream
- 4 oz. freshly grated Gruyere cheese
- 1/2 tsp. each salt, pepper
- 3 tbsp. unsalted butter, chilled and diced
- Add 4 green peppers and 4 red peppers. Add 1/2 tsp. salt. Use 3/4 cup milk and 3/4 cup heavy cream instead of 1 1/2 cups cream. If using peppers, use 9" shell.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375F. Beat eggs, cream, cheese, salt and pepper together. Pour into quiche shell, do with the butter and bake 25-35 mins. or until browned and set.
