Ingredients
- Filling:
- 1 pkg. (18-1/4 oz.) German chocolate cake mix
- 1 1/3 canola oil
- 1 egg
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) reduced -fat cream cheese
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, oil and egg; set aside 1 cup for topping. Press remaining crumb mixture into a 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until set.
2. For filling, in a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg; beat well. Spread over crust. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and reserved crumb mixture.
3. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Store in the refrigerator.
