- olive oil
- chopped garlic
- 3 cans plum tomatoes with basil
- 3 cans crushed tomatoes
- grated cheese
- chopped fresh parsley
- white or red wine
Cover bottom of large sauce pot with olive oil.
Add amount of chopped garlic desired.
Heat over low heat until lightly browned.
In a blender, blend the plum tomatoes quickly so they don't get too loose.
Add all of the blended plum tomatoes and crushed tomatoes to the oil and garlic. Stir well.
Add grated cheese and seasonings.
Bring to a boil and let simmer for 30 minutes with pot partially covered. Stir frequently.
Add some white or red wine.
Stir and simmer for another 5 minutes.
