Applesauce Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 5 cups flour
• 2 tsp. cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp. cloves
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 2 tsp. baking soda
• 2 1/2 cups applesauce

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together all dry ingredients and set aside. Cream together butter and sugar until smooth, then add eggs one at a time until thoroughly combined. Add dry ingredients slowly to egg mixture and mix until smooth. Bake together at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes
