Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 lb butter
- 1 cup water
- 4 tbsp cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 /2 cup sosur cream
- icing
- 8 tbsp butter
- 6 tbsp cocoa
- 6 tbsp milk
- 1 lb xxx sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
Mix flour, sugar and salt
Melt butter
Add water and cocoa and mix well.
Bring above to a boil and add to the flour mixture. Add remaining ingredients, stir and pour into an 11 x 17 pan
Bake at 350 for 15 - 20 minutes.
Icing
Melt butter and add cocoa and milk,. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
Add xxx sugar , vanilla and nuts - mis well and cool slightly then pour over the cake.
