Ingredients
- 6 cubed steaks
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup All purpose flour
- 1/2 cup egg substitute
- 45 saltine crackers (1 sleeve + 7 crackers) crushed
- 1 1/2 cups Low fat milk
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp chicken soup base
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Cook cubed steaks slowly until done.
Gradually whisk milk into flour until smooth; cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, 3-5 minutes or until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Whisk in soup base & pepper.
