Sweet and Garlicky Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 4 thick (1 inch) or 8 thin (1/2 inch) pork chops (about 2 lbs)
- 1 head garlic, broken into cloves and peeled
- 3 Tbs sugar
- 3 Tbs honey
- 3 Tbs rice wine
- 2 Tbs dark sesame oil
- 1/3 cup fish sauce
- 1 Tbs grated peeled fresh ginger
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Make 1-2 cuts in the fat side of the pork chop to keep it from curling. Arrange chops in baking dish and set aside.
Combine garlic and sugar in mini chopper and process to paste. Work the fish sauce, honey, rice wine, sesame oil, ginger, salt and pepper. Using a rubber spatula, spread the mixture over both sides of the chops. Let marinate in fridge, covered for 1-2 hours.
Set up grill for direct grilling and preheat to high.
Grill 4-6 mins each side.
