Sunday Lekvar Cakes (Teti Anka)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp yeast
  • 2 tbs sour cream
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 can lekvar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all the ingredients together (except Lekvar). Dough must raise for several hours.

Roll out one big piece of dough. Cut into squares. Put lekvar in the center and spread. Roll and place in a greased baking dish. Brush a little butter on top of cakes.

Dough must raise again.

Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes.
