Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 1/3 cup HOT water
  • 1 1/3 Tablespoon yeast
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered milk (scant)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix in your bowl:
sugar
HOT water
yeast
Add to your mixture:
Melt butter
Beat eggs (I use a fork)
Add to your mixture:
flour (you can add extra flour if the dough is too sticky)
salt
powdered milk.
Mix in the mixer or knead the dough for 10 minutes.

Raise for about 30-40 minutes until the dough doubles in size.
Roll out ½ inch thick on a floured surface,
Cut them using a circle (I use a big cup).
Place open on a grease cookie sheet.
Melt the rest of your butter cube and
Butter the inside of the roll, then fold it over and butter the tops.

Let raise for about 20 minutes.
Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.
