Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 3 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsps light corn syrup
- 1 1/2 lbs pecan halves
Preparation
Step 1
In a thick bottomed saucepan, on medium heat, combine all ingredients. Once combined, raise heat to medium-high and clip a candy thermometer to the side of the pan. Cook the mixture until it reach 230 degrees. Mix in pecans and stir until mixture looses its glossy appearance. Spoon onto parchment paper and allow to cool completely.
