Homemade Tortilla Chips

Ingredients

  • Corn tortillas, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oil in frying pan to about 375*.

2. Drop several wedges of the tortilla into oil to fry until golden.

3. Remove chips, draining excess oil, to cool on a paper towel lined plate.

4. Immediately salt only one side of each chip. Careful not to over salt.

5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 with remaining chips.
