Apple Blush Pie

Ingredients
- 5 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 15-1/4 oz. can crushed pineapple
- 1/3 c. red cinnamon candies
- 2 T. instant tapioca, uncooked
- 3 T. butter, softened
- 2 9-inch pie crusts
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients except crusts. Place one crust
- in a 9" pie plate; top with apple mixture. Cut remaining crust into
- 1/2-inch strips; form a lattice pattern over filling. Bake at
- 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees
- and bake an additional 30 minutes. Let cool. Serves 8.
