Ingredients
- 1 cup of butter
- 1/2 cup of redpath special fine granulated sugar
- 1 cup of redpath golden yellow sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
1. Pre-heat oven to 375ºF (190ºC0.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together until smooth.
3. Beat in vanilla and eggs, adding eggs one at a time. 4. Combine in a separate bowl the dry ingredients - flour, baking soda and salt.
5. Stir the dry ingredients into the sugar and egg mixture.
6. Mix in the chocolate chips.
7. Drop by teaspoon on an ungreased cookie sheet.
8. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes in the pre-heated oven until edges are golden.
9. Remove from baking sheet and cool on a wire rack.
