Steak with red wine sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/8 C olive oil
  • 1/4 C butter, unsalted, cold cubes
  • 2 shallots
  • 1/2 C beef broth
  • 1/2 C red wine
  • garlic

Preparation

Step 1

Saute shallots in butter and garlic. Add beef stock and red wine and reduce by half. Add cold butter to finish sauce. Salt & pepper Pour on top of steak
