Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown rice
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 t chicken buillon
  • 1/8 t pepper
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 T green pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat med saucepan over med heat. Add onion and saute 5 min.

2. Add water, brown rice, white wine, chicken boullon, and pepper. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 10 min.

3. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer 10-15 min or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed
