- 1 1/2 TSP OLIVE OIL
- 1 MEDIUM ONION SLICED
- 1 SHALLOT HALVED AND SLICED
- 4 CLOVES GARLIC MINCED
- 1/2 TSP SALT
- 1/2 TSP CARAWAY SEEDS
- 1/4 TSP BLACK PEPPER
- 1 TSP CAYENNE PEPPER
- 3 TBSP PAPRIKA
- 2 LBS RED POTATOES THINLY SLICED
- 2 CUPS CHICKEN BROTH
- 2 TBSP TOMATO PASTE
- 1/2 CUP SOUR CREAM

Step 1
HEAT OIL IN PAN, SAUTÉ ONION, SHALLOT, GARLIC 1 - 2 MINUTES UNTIL THEY BEGIN TO SOFTEN ADD IN REMAINING SEASONINGS AND STIR, REMOVE FROM HEAT.
ADD ONION MIXTURE , POTATOES, STOCK AND TOMATO PASTE INTO CROCK POT STIR TO COAT POTATOES, COOK ON HIGH 2 1/2 HOURS ON HIGH TILL THE POTATOES ARE TENDER
SERVE TOPPED WITH SOUR CREAM
