Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 2 cups water
- 2/3 cup canola oil
- 2 TBSP white vinegar
- 2 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
In mixing bow combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg.
Combine water, oil, vinegar and vanilla.
Add to dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Batter will be thin. Pour into 13x9 inch baking pan coated with non stick spray. Bake @350 for 25-30min. or until cake tester comes out clean.
Mix one container whipped vanilla frosting and 1 container whipped cream cheese frosting together and add 1/8 tsp maple flavoring if desired.
