Ingredients
- 1 (8 to 10 oz.) steak
- 2 cups Private Selection® Organic Salad
- 1/2 Bartlett pear, sliced
- 1/3 red onion, thinly sliced
- 3 Tbsp. pine nuts, toasted
- 1/4 cup Italian salad dressing or dressing of choice
- 2 oz. blue cheese or Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
Preparation
Step 1
Grill the steak over hot coals to the desired degree
of doneness or internal temperature of 145°F with
a meat thermometer. Toss the salad greens, pear,
onion and pine nuts in a bowl. Add the salad
dressing and mix to coat. Divide the salad mixture
equally between two serving plates. Cut the steak
into 1/2-inch strips and arrange over the salad
greens. Sprinkle with the cheese. Serve immediately.
Refrigerate any leftovers.
