Fudgy Frosting

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. semisweet baking chocolate
  • 1 3/4 cups whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • vanilla
  • salt

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the baking chocolate and whipping cream in the top of a double boiler. Heat and stir just until the chocolate is melted.

Remove chocolate from heat and mix in sour cream, vanilla and salt.

Let cool completely to room temperature. Be patient, it takes this icing quite some time to set-up.
