  • 1 lb. Lean Ground Turkey
  • 2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Crushed Fennel Seed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. Pepper

Combine the turkey, garlic powder, fennel seed, sugar, salt, oregano and pepper in a medium to large bowl.

Cover the turkey, and refrigerate it for at least 8 hours or overnight.

Shape the turkey into eight patties after refrigeration.

Cook the turkey patties in a nonstick skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray for about 3 minutes on each side. When they are done, a meat thermometer should read 165 degrees F.

Consider making sausage crumbles as well. For turkey Italian sausage crumbles, crumble turkey into a nonstick skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray. Cook and stir for about 4 minutes. Cook at least until meat is no longer pink.
