Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can diced tomatoes with basil, oregano and garlic
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook, stirring constantly, one minute. Add broth, stirring until smooth. Add diced tomatoes, sugar and pepper and cook, stirring often, 3 to 5 minutes or until thickened.
